Dr. Bové grew up in New York. She obtained her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Cornell University in 2006. After graduation, Dr. Bové went on to complete an internship in a small animal specialty private outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After finishing her internship, she moved to Houston, Texas where she worked fulltime as an emergency veterinarian at the Animal Emergency Clinic SH 249 as well as provided relief veterinary services to small animal practices and emergency clinics. Dr. Bové’s desire to continue to provide high quality medicine lead her to complete a second internship specializing in internal medicine in 2010-2011.
After her internship, Dr. Bové relocated Houston in June 2011 and is enjoying working with her veterinary colleagues to provide excellent medical care to their clients.
Dr. Bové lives in Houston with her husband, Brian, and their furry canine and feline companions, Hope and Katie. Her special interests include soccer, running, singing, photography, scuba diving, and traveling.
